FILINVEST LAND, one of the country's largest developers, inaugurated its first precast and concrete batching plant, located inside its township development, Ciudad de Calamba, in Laguna. The developer has invested over P200 million in the plant, which would be operated and managed by its full-cycle construction subsidiary, Dreambuilders Pro.
"The addition of concrete batching into the portfolio of our construction arm, Dreambuilders Pro, will allow us to strengthen our product delivery ability and enhance our expertise in serving the growing housing demand in the Philippines. We are proud to build our first concrete batching plant here in Laguna and help create jobs for its citizens," Filinvest Land President Tristan Las Marias said.
Filinvest Land's new precast and concrete batching plant would have a total capacity of up to 60 cubic meters per hour or a total of 90,000 cubic meters a year. The plant would generat over 300 new jobs. This state-of-the-art plant was designed to be eco-friendly by recycling waste and by producing virtually no noise, air, debris or water pollution.
The inauguration of the plant was celebrated with a ceremonial ribbon cutting and the first pouring ceremonies. It was attended by Calamba City Mayor Ross Rizal, Filinvest Land President Tristan Las Marias, Filinvest Development Corp. President Josephine Gotianun Yap, Sharepro President Cherie Fernandez and Dreambuilders Pro President Arnulfo delos Reyes.
